B.E.S.T. February 9, 2010 Newsletter

Hello everyone.  February 20 is the First Aid/CPR class for B.E.S.T. students from the fall class.  This is a full-day instruction provided by Colusa One-Stop and the students will receive certification.  The class will be conducted at Williams High School, multi-purpose room.

We are happy to tell Loraine Joy will be conducting a B.E.S.T. class beginning February 27, at Williams High School.  Several students are returning for a third time, they are dedicated to pursuing their health care career!  We will provide an enhanced curriculum for returning students.

We have handed out nearly 40 applications for the February class and it is open to high school students from Arbuckle, Maxwell and Colusa.

On behalf of the entire collaborative, Thank You!

The B.E.S.T. program is hosted by Colusa Regional Medical Center,
and additional funding from:
Health Services Administration (HRSA) and Sierra Health Foundation,
after school ASSETS program and Colusa County One-Stop Partnership
